About the Council

Salterforth Parish Council consists of seven Councillors and one Parish Clerk.

As a general rule we meet on the last Wednesday of every other* month in the Village Hall at 7.00 pm.

The meeting is an open event to all, and welcomes any member of the Parish.  If you would like to add a contribution to the agenda please notify the Parish Clerk at least three days before the meeting.

Agendas for meetings can be found on the notice board which can be found at the village crossroads, on this website, and the council Facebook page.

Please see below all the information you may need to understand how our council operates.  If you want to find out more please contact the Parish Clerk and/or one of the Parish Councillors who will be more than happy to help.
